Emerging Creators:
This program is about fostering business growth in our youth at Market Day La Pine. We will provide the space, tent, and tables. Youth in our area get to market their ideas or creations. The goal is real time application of your future business. Learning how to connect what you are doing with people. If you bring the ideas we can help you formulate the plans. It all starts with the application. We are giving the space for you to spend the day selling your products or explaining your ideas, how they work and what you will be doing with them.
Who can apply:
ANYONE ages 18 and younger that wants to create a product or business vision can apply. We are looking to inspire youth who make, create, grow, raise, or have any business ideas at all for their future. We have 4H kids that want to set up presentations, budding artists looking to sell their work, even kids who help their parents every day make a variation of their work.
If you have an idea that is difficult/needs permitting we can help partner you with a community member who can assist. Parental involvement is key and the sky can be the limit!
Details for the space:
We will provide the tent, with weights, on the day of the event. We will set up three 4ft tables. 1 table for each creator to display on-3 creators per event. They will spend the day talking about their ideas, plans, or even selling the items they have created. Need more space? Just ask. We are not stifling ideas here. We are embracing the growth! Events are 10am-2pm. We do require the participation in all 4 hours, as well as accounting time for set up and break down time. Everyone is required to be ready by 9:45am

Requirements:
For participants under 18 a parent/guardian is required. You will need to fill out the application online (HERE, search for our event after creating an account). You do not need to upload photos or insurance but you do need to agree to all the rules for participation. $15 application fee will be waved, as well as payment for participation. Attached application is for the participant to fill out. There is an attached waiver for your child to participate as well as a photo release if you wish for us to be able to use your child’s photos in advertising for the market and the EC tent.
